Pearl is very very popular with those who volunteer to walk dogs at the kennels.  She is delightful, but yappy!

.

Pearl is out on trial.

.

There was a charming moment today (20/10/2018) when a volunteer sat with her in the front of the kennel.  She wandered to the back half of her kennel and produced her teddy for the volunteer and her to play with.  Very touching.  What is she still doing in the kennels?
.
Pearl is a three year old Patterdale terrier.  Very good with children of all ages.
.
If you adopt Pearl or take her on trial she could not be left in the kitchen when you go to bed. She would need to sleep in her own bed but beside you in your bedroom. She suffers from separation anxiety.
.
Since meeting  them in the kennels, Pearl is much better with other dogs.   Pearl is not aggressive.  She would not bite another dog or even pose a threat but Pearl will yap when she meets dogs she does not know.
.
I think she is a normal happy friendly little dog and could be re-homed without trouble in most homes and with a quiet dog she has come to know.

When off the leader in the paddock Pearl is a  playful little dog with good recall.  I think she has benefitted from being in the kennels.

Pearl looks  older than her stated age because of a few grey hairs but her pearly white teeth show her to be a young dog.
