Meet Geri

Lovely Geri is one of our slightly more senior cats. She’s around 8 years old, and unfortunately her owner passed away recently, leaving nobody to care for her. She’s only just arrived so is a little nervous but all signs suggest she’s a very sweet cat who just needs to be loved.

The good thing about older cats is that they have outgrown that mischievous adolescent phase, and are much more content to curl up on a soft blanket or in a warm bed. Senior cats therefore tend to spend more time with their humans indoors, sleeping or dozing. They can still be playful and entertaining however! Given the opportunity, an older cat can be surprisingly agile – in between naps and eating, of course! Geri would probably like some outdoor access in a safe space.
