fozzy

Fozzy is a four year old female Labrador (should be a male given the name!).

.

Fozzy is out on trial.
.
Fozzy quickly becomes attached to the one person who spends most time looking after her.  Perhaps she would best be re-homed to a single person household.   She enjoys meeting children out on her walks but we will not re-home her to a family where there are young children as she is possessive.

.

Applications from experienced Labrador, former  dog gun owners or large dog breed owners  preferred.

.

Fozzy is very healthy,  she does not have the joint problems which plague many Labradors.
.
Fozzy has been fine with all the people who work at the kennels.   She was re-homed once and then returned to us. We decided to leave it a few weeks before re-advertising Fozzy.  The time spent with Fozzy has allowed us to socialise her.  She sits when asked and presents her paw in a very appealing manner.
.

Fozzy was  once bitten by a Springer  Spaniel but she did not retaliate;  she yelped and came running back to me (Phil Ripley) for protection.

.
In many respects she is a typical Labrador. She adores running loose, dashing in and out of bushes. Her recall is very good indeed.   Fozzy is quite happy to let cyclists, joggers, etc. run past her.  She sometimes has a growl if another dog comes too close to her.  As I (Phil Ripley) walk her every day and spend a lot of time with Fozzy she is attached to me but I am confident she would soon devote herself to whoever gives her a good home.

The adoption fee is £60 and viewing is by appointment only.
