Benji is about 8 to 9 years old.
He was re-homed a number of years ago but unfortunately his owner recently passed away. He was with his previous owner for about six years so she must have loved him. At the kennels Benji is excellent but a relative of his previous owner says he was not straightforward but this is difficult to understand given his behaviour at the kennels. Very easy to walk on and off the leader, very good with other dogs and he shows no reaction to children (just wags his little tail).
Nevertheless, Benji will not be re-homed where there are children (he has his quirks) and we feel he would best be re-homed to a single person household.
Benji likes to sit next to you in the paddock. He is not yappy, altogether a nice little Cairn type dog. He does not tire on his walks; loves them.
Since returning to the kennels he has been re-homed once but it did not work out. Maybe a little patience is necessary given he will have got used to his departed owner. There are no signs of any problems at the kennel so it was surprising he was returned to us.
